Smith's holdup suspect arrested
A joint criminal apprehension team headed by United States Marshals has arrested the suspect known as "Canceris," who allegedly robbed the Smith's Food & Drug at gunpoint in Price on Nov. 26.
The suspect, Domonic Mathew Martinez, 28, was taken into custody at 3300 South State Street in Salt Lake City at around 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon. Martinez is originally from Murray but had recently been living in Price.
Price City Detectives Robb Radley and Chris Pugliese assisted in the arrest investigation of Martinez, who is also known as "King-Dom."
The Seventh District Court issued a $100,000 warrant for the Martinez after his reported involvement in the aggravated robbery at Smith's.
He was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail, pending extradition back to Price, said Price City Police Capt. Bill Barnes.
Price detectives had arrested Jennifer Tryon, 42, of Price on Dec. 2 for Aggravated Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, and Obstruction of Justice in connection with the same crime.
She was identified as the "getaway" driver by Price Police.
