Nightmare road trip continues for USU Eastern men in Idaho
After starting the season off 17-1, the Golden Eagles have found wins hard to come by over the past two weeks.
Playing on the road in tough environments haven't made it any easier.
The USU Eastern men dropped both games on the annual Idaho road trip, including a 103-59 loss to College of Southern Idaho on Thursday evening and a 83-65 defeat to North Idaho College on Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Eagles racked up 68 fouls over the two games which saw their opponents shoot a total of 92 free throws.
USU Eastern had a 29 turnovers in the loss to CSI before adding another 19 in the loss to NIC.
Kendahl Amerson led the USU Eastern offense averaging 20 points per game over the two games.
USU Eastern, 17-4 and 4-3 in SWAC play, will continue play with one more road game on Saturday, Jan. 25 against Colorado Northwestern CC (6-15 overall and 0-7 SWAC play).
