Carbon County pageant organizer Kristena Hunsaker with 2014 Miss Carbon County Brielle Bogdin, 19 of Price and Miss Carbon County Teen Jenna Hansen, 16 of Price. In addition to winning the overall crown, Bogdin was also given the People's Choice award at the Jan. 25 pageant which took place at the Price Civic Auditorium.

Also competing on Saturday night were Taylor Teuscher, 19 of Price and Korrin Olson, 18 of Price. Charielle Basso, 19 of Wellington was selected as Miss Congeniality.

The girls competed in private interview, lifestyle fitness and swimwear, talent, on stage question and evening gown during the competition.

"We really did have a lot of support and are doing all we can to grow and expand this long standing program," said Hunsaker. "This is a great pageant with the scholarships and opportunities for young girls."

Carbon County organizers are hoping to conduct a Miss Teen Carbon County Pageant in April. The Little Miss Carbon County Pageant will take place on March, 21 at the Carbon County Fairgrounds Event Center at 6 p.m. Anyone interested in going this event should contact Hunsaker at 630-1550. The little miss pageant is for all individuals age 10 and under.
