DUI citation in strange wreck
A momentary loss of control turned a Jeep Grand Cherokee into a work of sidewalk art Saturday afternoon as a Price woman impaled her car on 400 East in Price.
According to Price City Police Capt. Bill Barnes, Nikole Annie Holt, 34, of Price hit a large pole dead center after veering to the right while traveling north just after 3 p.m.
"The Jeep actually climbed the pole and became stranded there," said Barnes. "That thing just wasn't going to move without some help."
Holt was taken to Castleview Hospital where her blood was drawn. She was cited for DUI Alcohol, Driving on a Suspended License and Improper Lane Travel.
