Errors, runners left on base leave Price with tough 13-2 loss to Judge

The Price American Legion Baseball team has mostly played in close games that are decided in the final innings throughout the early part of the season.

But against Judge at home on Friday, that streak ended as Judge took advantage of Price errors on defense leading to the visitors handing Price a 13-2 loss.

Price scored both of their runs in the bottom of the third inning as Caden Sherman hit a sacrifice fly and Dillon Lowe followed with an RBI single.

But the Price offense struggled to get any more runs across the plate despite having opportunities.

Kellen Trujillo had a double and a single to help lead the offense. Nick Rukavina added two singles and Lowe pitched in an RBI single.

Isaiah Martinez and Zac Hathaway both pitched in the game for Price.

Price will look to turn things around but they must do so on the road. Price will play in a doubleheader against Highland on Monday evening before traveling to Murray on Wednesday for another doubleheader.
