Washington Federal hosts members
Washington Federal Savings hosted the quarterly Carbon Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event on June 26. Washington Federal Savings was founded in 1917. A group of local businessmen established Ballard Savings and Loan Association in a fishing and lumber community just north of Seattle, Wash. Since then it has grown to over 200 branches in eight western states, including Washington, Arizona, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah and New Mexico. It has 10 branches in Utah.
In the photos Justin Johansen, the manager of the Price operation tells those attending about the company and how it operates. Those attending were treated to a lot of goodies and listened to presentations as well as participated in drawings at the event. Some of those that make up Washington Federals team. Mike Marron and Kimberly Ware work with commercial loans in Salt Lake City. The locals on the team in Price are Diane Dart, Misty Jones, Adrienne Hunt, Justin Johansen and Jessie Simms.
