Utah Division of Water Quality to hold meeting Thursday
The state of Utah is looking to reduce the amount of phosphorus and nitrogen in the water that exists in Utah. With that in mind they are holding a series of meetings throughout the state to let people hear about the situation and to comment on the proposed rules for regulation.
There will be a joint public hearing for Price City and the Price River Water Improvement District on July 17 at 7 p.m. in the Price Civic Auditorium.
The public comment period on the new rules began on June 1 and runs through Aug. 1.
