With construction all complete, the Price City Tennis Court Complex along 300 East and 400 North is now open to use by the community.

Gary Sonntag, Price City Public Works director, said the construction on the tennis courts was completed at the end of July. Construction began in late-May as all six courts, which were old and considered to be dilapidated with cracks and crevices all over the place, were completely removed. Six new courts with blue court designs and green surfaces surrounding them are ready for use among the public. Sonntag said the north three courts have LED lights to help play continue towards the 11 p.m. hour nightly.

A Kid's Tennis Day event scheduled for August 9 is one of the first events to be held at the new tennis complex. An official ribbon cutting ceremony was scheduled to be held on Wednesday, August 27 at Noon.
