The Pinnacle High School Volleyball team opened the 2014 season with a tough home matchup with Wasatch Academy on Tuesday evening.

The Lady Panthers battled with their opponent but were unable to make a comeback on their home court in the end, falling in three sets to the visitors.

Pinnacle will travel to a tournament in Duchesne this Friday and Saturday and will travel the following weekend to a tournament at San Juan High School. They will return home with a game against Navajo Mountain on Sept. 12.
