Elder Jason Louis Alger has been called to serve in the Mexico-Mexico City east mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Elder Alger will speak in sacrament meeting Sept. 22 at 9 a.m. at the Huntington 1st/5th LDS Ward building, 115 West 400 East.

There will be a luncheon for family and friends at the Huntington senior citizen center after the meeting.

Elder Alger will enter the missionary training center Sept. 25.

He is the son of Pete and Ilene Alger of Huntington.
