Shawn Anderson rides through Price last Friday as part of his project Extra Mile America. Starting in San Francisco, Calif., Anderson will eventually make his way to Boston, Mass. Along the way, he hopes to stop at 21 cities to find inspirational stories about going the extra mile. Anderson said the stories he hopes to gather include subjects ranging from careers, relationships, encouragement and communities. Upon reaching Boston, he will pick 10 of the most inspirational stories and award their owners $1,000 each. In Utah, he said he stopped in Salt Lake and found no less than nine people who were going the extra mile. Though Anderson was suppressed by Utah's sparse populations, he was no less committed as he made his way south to Interstate 70.
