On Wednesday evening Nov. 4, a Jeep Liberty driven by B. Richardson crashed into a highway paint truck on SR-123 west of East Carbon City. The accident occurred when the Jeep attempted to pass two eastbound paint trucks. After passing the crash truck (intended to soften accidents should they occur) at normal speed, the Jeep pulled ahead and hit the painting truck. The two trucks were about 250 to 500 yards apart, and were traveling at approximately five mph.

Wellington fire and rescue responded to the scene and extracted Ms. Richardson from her vehicle then had her life flighted out to the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. No information has been released about her condition.
