Southeastern Utah Health District nurse Dottie Flemett administers an influenza vaccine to David Cunningham. The public health department director joined a long line of Carbon County residents getting immunized for the upcoming flu season Tuesday morning. The clinic hours are weekdays from 3 to 4:30 p.m., Tuesdays from 5 to 7 p.m. until Nov. 1 and Thursdays form 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The health district is located at 28 South 100 East Main in Price. Influenza vaccinations are recommended for adults 50 years of age or older, pregnant women and residents of long-term care facilities as well as for persons older than 6 months of age who have chronic illness and persons 6 months to 18 years of age who receive chronic aspirin therapy.
