A powerful Nelco Contractors crane hoists a stranded truck from the fast water of the Price River Wednesday and onto the bridge on U.S. 6 near Consumers Road. The truck carried its driver and two passengers off a cliff and into the Price River June 3. It drifted a short way downstream, submerging almost to the top of the cab before it stopped under the bridge. A daring swift water rescue involving several public safety agencies managed to extricate and haul to shore all three passengers, who were slightly injured and suffering from hypothermia.
