Dinos look to snap losing streak on Homecoming Week

The Carbon High football team has done just about everything they can think of to try and jumpstart a season that has stalled over the first seven games.

The Dinos have gone 0-7 to start the 2013 season as another loss was added to the season total with a 62-0 loss to Judge Memorial in Salt Lake City on Friday night.

The lopsided loss comes on the heels of another tough 61-0 loss to Morgan on Sept. 27.

Since starting quarterback Jarod Lessar went down with an injury prior to the team's game with American Leadership Academy on Aug. 30, the Dinos have used Zac Hathaway, Logan Olson and Dominic Rondinelli to try and get some offense going.

Since losing to ALA 28-14, the Dinos have gone scoreless over their last five games, being out scored 243-0.

With homecoming week at Carbon High, the Dinos are looking to snap the losing streak as they play host to Union on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.

The Dinos dropped a tough 26-21 game to Union last year at home as the visitors scored a touchdown in the final minute to walk away with the win.
